Romans 5:3-4 NASB

"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;" Perseverance is a character-builder, and real hope comes about through tribulation. I have seen this work in my own life. When I go through trouble, and Jesus comes through, my confidence in Him builds. (He always come through). That's hope. Jesus is our True Hope.
